We keep on saying that it’s really important to always be very cautious when riding a motorcycle on the road. And there’s good reason for that. Something that’s a dented door on a car is a life gone on a motorcycle!
And it’s all the more important if you ride a moped.
Those things don’t have the acceleration or braking of the motorcycles we ride, have a worse balance, and are just as vulnerable to all the things that motorcycles are to. In Asian countries, mopeds are a very popular form of commute, and people start riding these things in their teens.
The problem is, despite all that experience, some of them just never care to lean even the bare basics!
And this guy’s very clearly one of them. He’s riding his moped in the lane farthest on the right on what looks like an 8-lane highway.
And all of a sudden he decides that he needs to make a left turn. So, he decides to move through all of the 4 lanes all at once, in a blink.
But, he forgot to do one thing!
And that was to check his mirrors. He just tilted his moped to the left and just started riding diagonal to the road!
He didn’t give a single thought to the fact that a vehicle may be coming faster than his snail-pace moped and it may just ram into him!
Unfortunately, that’s what happens. He hits a (over?)speeding truck coming in the leftmost train. The truck drags his for several several meters before it can come to a stop, as his helmet rolls on the road ahead. We’re not sure if he lived through this, but we really wish he did!
